I would like to announce to the world that yes, indeed, I am alive and continually serving others.
Work consists of playing baseball, giving people cream soda, and making sure people stay healthy by helping them ingest doses of airborn. Other than that, I am amazed every day at the amazing way God shows His love to His children. It humbles me that God would choose me to work with a group of amazing people like the folks here at Verity.

I decided that I should  post some pictures of my life:

My wonderful friend who keep my life far from boring. What would I do without her? I'm not quite sure probably have a dull, normal life or something boring like that.

Ah well, that is my life for the moment. If you have any questions, comments, or profound thoughts,  you can leave me a comment. Have a great life y'all and keep looking to Jesus who never can fail!

The First of Long Awaited Updates

"That ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, with all lowliness and meekness, with long suffering, forbearing one another in love; endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
~ Ephesians 4:1-3

It's amazing what all can happen in just a little less than a year.  As I spent some time journaling back in December two main things struck me about this past year.   God will not give us more than we can handle and His strength is made perfect in our weaknesses.

Well . . . . .  I'll get back to the past latter.  Now for the present.

I just spent an incredible week with most of the '07 family.

My deepest appologies for not having more pictures of the amazing time I had in Atlanta

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.  According as He has choosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love."

Dear Family and Friends,                                        momanddad

These past two years have been the best and most challenging years of my life.  In April of 2005 God called me to go to Verity to pursue my Bachelors degree in Music, so in September of 05 I began my college career.  Throughout these past twenty-one months I earned the one-hundred-twenty credits required to acquire my degree, but even more than that I made life long friendships and grew in my relationship with God.  God’s faithfulness was evident throughout my entire time at Verity.  Without God’s overwhelming grace and sustaining strength I would not have been able to complete this program and earn my BA in such a short amount of time.

One of the highlights of my time at Verity was being able to go with my class to Peru on a mission trip.  Thank you to all who supported me and prayed for me.  God worked mightily during that time and we were able to lead many people to Christ.

This coming year holds new challenges as I have accepted a position to stay on staff at Verity in an administrative role.  I know that this is the next step God is calling me to and I am excited to see what He has in store for me in the months to come.

Christ’s servant,

GOD IS FAITHFUL!

On Friday May 18th, 2007 I past my last test, bringing my total number of credits to 122.  And on Saturday May 26, 2007 I will be walking with the rest of my fellow 07ers in Verity's graduation ceremony.  It has been an amazing journey.   God is so good!!!

Sometime in the near future (I hope) I will write up the whole story of all that God has done over my past two years here at Verity.  And it's far from over.  God has asked me to take a huge step of faith and stay here on staff this next year.   I am so excited to see what God is going do.

To all of you who have been waiting I'm sorry it's taken me this long to post.

God always finishes the work He has begun in us.

"When He talks of their losing their selves, He only means abandoning the clamour of self-will; once they have done that, He really gives them back all their personality, and boasts (I am afraid, sincerely) that when they are wholly His they will be more themselves than ever." - C.S. Lewis (The Screwtape Letters)

God has been showing Himself so real to me in the past couple of months.  I have seen His hand at work in many different ways.  I have seen first hand what God does in the lives of those who are completely sold out to Him.  God takes the desires of our hearts, the desires He gives us, and fulfills them in ways we could never expect.  I am learning to live life not just to the fullest but to His fullest; making each moment I have here on earth count for eternity.

Life becomes an adventure when it is no longer your own
